Golden Energy and Resources Limited (“GEAR”) is a Singapore listed (SGX:AUE) leading energy and resources company in the Asia Pacific region.
GEAR’s businesses include:
- Mining of metallurgical coal through its subsidiary Stanmore Resources Limited (“Stanmore”) (64% – including its newly acquired 100% interest in BHP Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd (“BMC“)) operating in Australia;
- Mining of energy coal through its subsidiary PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (“GEMS”) (62.5%) operating in Indonesia;
- Mining of gold through Ravenswood Gold Pty Ltd (“Ravenswood Gold”)(50%) operating in Australia;
- Various investments in renewable energy projects in Asia.
Stanmore has coal resources estimates of 1.7 billion tonnes, marketable coal reserves estimates of 125.4 million tonnes and three coal handling preparation plants with capacity of over 15 million tonnes per annum in aggregate.
GEMS has more than 2.9 billion tonnes of energy coal resources and more than 1 billion tonnes of coal reserves.
Ravenswood Gold has 4.4 million ounces of gold resources and 2.6 million ounces of gold reserves, and a gold processing facility of up to 5.0 million tonnes per annum.
