Mr. Fuganto Widjaja

Mr. Fuganto Widjaja was appointed as an Executive Director and the Group Chief Executive Officer on 20 April 2015 following DSS Completion. Mr. Widjaja is a member of the Remuneration Committee. Mr. Widjaja is the son of Mr. Indra Widjaja and nephew of Mr. Franky Oesman Widjaja and Mr. Muktar Widjaja. Mr. Indra Widjaja, Mr. Franky Oesman Widjaja and Mr. Muktar Widjaja are the ultimate controlling shareholders of the Company. Except as provided above, Mr. Widjaja does not have any relationship including immediate family relationship with the Directors or the Company as defined in the Code. Mr. Widjaja was re-elected to the Board on 28 April 2017.

Mr. Widjaja has more than 15 years of experience in general management and supervisory responsibilities in the coal industry. Mr. Widjaja is a commissioner of GEMS and PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk.

Mr. Widjaja graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Computer Science and Economics) from Cornell University in 2003 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Philosophy (Finance) from the University of Cambridge in 2004.
